Lahdelma & Mahlamäki architects and Archiplan design a school in Chile

Lahdelma & Mahlamäki architects will design a private school in Chile in collaboration with the Chilean architectural firm Archiplan. The school will have a capacity of around 500 pupils and will be located in the region of Tarapacá in northern Chile.

Sustainability is a key element of the school building to be designed. This is reflected, among other things, in the fact that the school will be constructed of wood, using prefabricated CLT (cross-laminated timber) elements.

The building will be completed in March 2026.
